Barbastro distributes 2,500 cup covers for its festivities

The council renews a prevention initiative launched in 2024, introducing a different type of drink cover. The 2026 festival distribution includes 1,500 covers for Interpeñas and another 1,000 for two afternoon-event bars. The new fabric covers can be washed and reused, according to the council’s announcement.

Barbastro announces drink covers and a support point for festivities

The municipal campaign combines information and in-person assistance. The council announced six thousand adhesive covers for festival locations. A Punto Violeta support point was scheduled beside the tourist office from 3 to 8 September.
