The University of Valencia has opened registration for ninety-minute workshops across its campuses on 30 October and 6 and 13 November. Places are limited, and participants must register in advance.
Information and discussion
Sessions will include demonstrations of GHB sensors and discussion of drug-facilitated assault. Registration includes an anonymous survey about public perceptions, expected to take around five minutes.
Connecting workshops with research
VSAFE’s published objectives connect education with a planned risk map whose indicators would help direct awareness campaigns and training. The project envisages tools for professionals and the public, alongside preventive communication activities.
Context matters
The workshops had not yet taken place. Substance-specific sensors do not provide protection against every possible drug.
